Caryn Kaftal brings over 25 years of experience working with CEOs, Senior Leaders, Boards and Investors on topics related to strategy, leadership and large-scale organization change. She is the Founder of a boutique consulting firm—c2c partnership—that works in collaboration with expert partners to address complex business challenges. She specializes in the areas of senior team alignment and strategic change management, with deep expertise in talent management and leadership development as levers for change. Caryn has divided her career between internal change leadership roles and external consulting roles. She is a trained facilitator and coach, certified in a number of assessment instruments.

Caryn earned an MBA from Harvard Business School where she received the Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship for Contributions to Public Service Management. She earned an MA from Wesleyan University in Communications and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in International Relations and European History. She lectures internationally on topics related to integrated talent management, human capital transformation and leading change.

Corporate Roles:  Caryn served as an SVP at GlaxoSmithKline where she built Centers of Excellence in Global Talent, Leadership and Organization Development to support massive transformation across the business. Earlier in her career, she was an Executive at General Electric working as part of Jack Welch’s transformation of GE, working closely with GE’s Chief Learning Officer as a member of GE’s Global Work-Out and Change Acceleration Program (CAP) teams. She was also a member of the Leadership Team of GE’s Corporate Audit Staff, renowned for its role in developing future CEO talent. On the business side, Caryn served as an Human Resource Business Partner to GE’s Industrial & Power Systems.

Consulting Roles:  Caryn spent several years in change management consulting with Mercer Delta (now Oliver Wyman) and later Monitor working with the CEOs and leadership teams of clients across a wide range of industries. She has also served as an External Advisor to McKinsey & Company and as a Senior Client Partner with Korn/Ferry International as they embarked on building an integrated human capital solutions business.

Beyond c2c partnership: Caryn lives in Paris, France and New Haven, Connecticut working with local and global businesses around the world. She is fluent in English, works in French and continues to study Spanish and Italian. She is married to artist Felice Panagrosso. They have two children.
